Emily Evans Larson is a writer and photographer currently residing in the Olympic Foothills south of Port Angeles, Washington. She was raised in the Midwest and has lived and traveled throughout the United States and Asia. Her work has appeared in Tidepools, Trillium, Twin Cities, and Byline.

Like many writers, she procrastinates—there are a million reasons NOT to write; however, the words pile up like pigs in a feed lot, crowd her brain with hungry images begging to be tasted. Eventually, the gate opens, words spill out, and she begins to write.
