Jane Wong holds a BA in Literature and Creative Writing from Bard College in upstate New York. She is the recipient of fellowships and scholarships from the Bucknell Seminar for Younger Poets and the Bread Loaf Writers Conference.

In answer to our question of why she writes, Jane responded: “On average, twenty people a year say to me, ‘So, why aren’t you going to be a doctor?’ I say, ‘Because I can’t tell the difference between a heart and a foot. In poetry, I don’t need to.’"
