Sayantani Dasgupta is from Delhi, India. She has a master’s degree in medieval Indian history and is currently pursuing her MFA in creative writing from the University of Idaho. She teaches a course on world religions called Sacred Journeys. Her hobbies include blogging, traveling, and rereading the Harry Potter series of books.

In answer to our question of why she writes, Sayantani responded:

“I have always been a storyteller, be it at dinner table conversations, picnics, or long drives. The ability and opportunity to put those bouts of creativity into words is the most rewarding aspect of my life.”
