David W. Landrum teaches Literature and Creative Writing at Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. His poetry has appeared in numerous publications, including Web Del Sol, The Barefoot Muse, WORM, riverrun, and many others. He is the editor of the on-line journal Lucid Rhythms.

In answer to our question of why he writes, David responded:

“I write because poetry brings clarity of vision to a world that is all too content with platitudes, clichés, propaganda, and all other forms of empty, meaningless speech. Poetry gives people voice in an era grown increasingly, and dangerously, inarticulate.”
