Colin Pope is currently the Clark Writer-in-Residence at Texas State University, where he teaches in the English Department. His poems have appeared or are forthcoming in Slate, Texas Review, Linebreak, and The New York Quarterly, among others. He lives in Smithville, Texas, with his dog Jelly.
