Sister Hilda Kleiman, OSB, is a Benedictine sister from Queen of Angels Monastery in Mount Angel, Oregon. She received her MA in English from Oregon State University and is completing an MA in Theology at Mount Angel Seminary. In answer to our question of why she writes, Sister Hilda responded:

“I have come to understand writing as a part of my vocation and calling; a day in which I have committed words to the page is a day in which I have tried to be attentive to the presence of God. By sharing my writing in ways big and small, I try to honor the possibility that what I have received is intended for the sake of others as well.”
