Siobhan Casey is currently an MFA student at Chatham University. She works as an editorial assistant for Weave Magazine, based in Pittsburgh. She has been published in Caper Literary Review, Coal Hill Review, Dash Literary Magazine, Rougarou, and The Susquehanna Review.

In answer to our question of why she writes, Siobhan responded:

“I write to reach and comfort others, but also, to disturb, awaken, enliven, to confront beauty and disaster, to tap into both the communal and the personal. I write because it’s impossible not to embrace the claim that poetry and its music has always had on my life.”
