Deborah Bacharach’s work has appeared in The Antigonish Review, Literary Mama, and New Letters, among many others.

In answer to our question of why she writes, Deborah responded:

“When I don’t write, the world slips by in a bit of a blur. I don’t notice the daffodils cresting through last year’s dead leaves that I never bothered to rake away. I remember the cost of the new oranges but not the way that first bite made me think of carousels. I don’t remember my dreams. I keep writing to keep my life in focus.”
