Jerry Kraft is a playwright, poet and theatre critic. Retired after thirty years of working in acute psychiatric mental health, he lives with his wife, Bridgett, and their two daughters in Port Angeles, Washington. He continues to write because making experience into language creates and shares a comprehensible life.

In answer to our question of what propels him to write, Jerry responded, “The dramas, both large and small, of my reality need to speak, so I give them words, and they give me meaning.”
