Theresa Boyar lives in Helena, Montana, where she is currently finishing work on her first novel. Her poems and stories have appeared in Eclectica, Rattle, Florida Review, Slow Trains, Wicked Alice, and Pindeldyboz.

“As clichéd as it sounds, I write because I need to write—because I don’t feel completely like myself when I’m not writing. Sometimes I take a month or two ‘off’out of necessity, and when I return to writing, I always feel as if I’m finally breathing out again, after having held everything in for so long.”

Her website is www.theresaboyar.com.
