Alice Derry’s most recent volume of poems is Strangers to Their Courage from Louisiana State University Press in 2001. A chapbook of translations from Rainer Maria Rilke appeared from Pleasure Boat Studio in New York in 2002. Derry has published widely. She is the author of Stages of Twilight and Clearwater. Her new unpublished manuscript is titled Tremolo. Derry has co-directed the Foothills Writers Series, bringing fine writers to the Peninsula in Washington State, for more than 25 years.
