Jim Fisher teaches English for Peninsula College in Port Angeles, Washington. As he eases towards retirement, Jim is doing all of his classes online, meaning he has taught from South Africa on a photo safari and from France while floating down the Seine in a cruise ship. Jim and his wife Ann live at their two homes in Sequim and Lake Sutherland.

What keeps Jim moving forward as a writer is the search for the perfect metaphor, the one that will answer all questions. Once achieved, he will be transformed into the pure energy of a haiku or sonnet and float through cyberspace for all eternity in perfect peace and contentment. Until then he writes because he can do no other.
