Benjamin Russell is a high school English teacher in Providence, Rhode Island. He received his MFA from New England College. His work has either appeared or is forthcoming in 5 AM, RE:AL, Ward 6 Review, and others. One of the reasons he writes is to attempt to make connections between individuals. He believes nothing is more emotionally and spiritually charged than when a person connects with a piece of art.
