Brent Fisk’s work has been in Rattle, Southern Poetry Review, Southeast Review, and his work is forthcoming in Prairie Schooner. He has had three poems nominated for Pushcarts in the last two years.

In answer to our question of why he writes, Brent responded:

“Writing for me is like the need to brush my teeth. If I let too much time go by before doing it, I feel icky and I’m sure my incisors would fall out.”
