Jamie Lin is currently attending college in Georgia. She hopes to major in English and Creative Writing and minor in Human Rights or Political Science. She has been published at Storyglossia, Blood Lotus, Pequin, Verbsap, among other literary journals. Her website is jamielin.net.

In answer to our question of why she writes, Jamie responded:

"Writing is all I think about. I cope with boredom and fear by fictionalizing experiences. It really balances me out because I am horrible with verbal communication. Also, I have an irrational amount of love for literature and writers. My favorite writers are intuitive thinkers and passionate dreamers with a need to seek honesty. My favorite stories offer me endless reasons to live with gumption. Lastly, writing is basically the only thing I can do. Everything else is over my head."
