Sean Patrick Hill is a freelance writer in Portland, Oregon. He earned his MA in Writing from Portland State University, where he won the Burnam Graduate Award. He received a grant from Regional Arts and Culture Council and residencies from Montana Artists Refuge, Fishtrap, and the Oregon State University Trillium Project. “What keeps me moving forward is the understanding that I have not yet written the one great poem, the definitive song; like Whitman speaking of the 'Immortal Poem' I am forever seeking that kind of perfection in my work.”
