Recent work by Tania Pryputniewicz appeared at Linebreak, Salome Magazine, Autumn Sky, and Empire Report. A graduate of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, she is the poetry editor at The Fertile Source and lives in Sonoma County, California, with her husband, three children, and five feral cats.

In answer to our question of why she writes, Tania responded:

“When, on a daily basis, I attend to my lifelong compulsion to nail what I see around me in words, passion emerges for the rest of my responsibilities (as wife, mother, friend). The 7,000 plus writers conversing at She Writes keep me inspired as do my Wednesday nights with writer Liz Brennan trading drafts, drinking Lady Grey and swapping back issues of Poetry, APR, P&W, and random volumes of poetry from our decades-brimming bookshelves.”
