Point of View
The human race
is a marathon, not a sprint,
that’s why our muscles
are long and lean,
but our senses are not
so keen and require
a different point of view.
Snails, on the other hand,
are in it for the sprint,
but only another mollusk
would notice
that they finish in a rush,
at a snail’s pace,
all slick with sweat.
